The Poker Players Alliance strongly believes that with the right to play poker comes a corresponding responsibility. Through our Web site and our advocacy work, the Poker Players Alliance remains committed to responsible gaming. We seek to not only to comply with all legislation and guidelines, but to also exceed them.

While most players enjoy poker responsibly, a small percentage may gamble when under the legal age limit; others may let poker assume too large a role in their lives. Even though poker is largely a game of skill, like any sport, playing it can have negative and unintended consequences.
