The Poker Players Alliance will hold a press conference during the World Series of Poker to announce the dates for National Poker Week, a coordinated grassroots advocacy effort focused on educating lawmakers in Washington, D.C., on the benefits of protecting the game of poker. U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley, PPA Chairman and former Senator Alfonse D’Amato, and poker professionals will be available to discuss details of National Poker Week and to unveil new advocacy tools and websites for poker players.
