Just had my entire $1,500 balance confiscated by Pokerstars because they're claiming someone signed up for an account with my information and apparently (and conveniently) donked off about that amount with bad checks. One of the accounts actually had over $1,000 in bad checks....which shouldn't even be possible.
Bottom line is that while online players are fish and it's definitely profitable to play against them, it doesn't mean a whole lot if the site is going to steal your money. They're pretty much a bunch of third world lawless thugs, and I doubt legalizing them in the US would change their behavior.
If anyone knows how to contact whatever absurd entity "regulates" them I'd appreciate it.
