   It is hard for me to tell, but it seems that in the revision to the forums the screen names have been wiped out to some degree and replaced with Real Names.

   This appears to be true, at least in my case. However, I don't mind. I proudly consider myself a card carrying member. Or in this case, a card protector carrying member.

   Thank you. I did not realize this was an option that was user modifiable.

   Hmmm.... I tried to make the change in my profile, but it did not work.

   Hmm.... I went back and tried again. Apparently I had to enter my password as well as my changes. I have reset my screen name now. Thank you.

   Sometimes I want people to know who I am other than by my screen name. Sometimes I like to hide behind my screen name. I can post either way depending on how I access the forum page. Is that just me or is that common?

   Hmm. Does that give me a way to not be a moderator? I worry that people think I speak for the PPA, when I only represent the forum, not the organization. And, I am a proud member. However, I have lost my card protector. I want to be able to order a tray of them to promote.

   PPA forum mods don't represent PPA, so don't worry about that. Your opinions are your own. I do ask that forum mods take a little extra effort not to break forum rules and to post with decorum, of course, but you and the other mods have been great at that.

    You should be able to set this in the profile edit page. Just choose the preferred display name from the display name pulldown menu.
