On line gaming should be legalized for the simple fact that we are all adults and are capable of making our own choices. Are there addictions? Absolutely!! As with anything else. Are we worried about our kids?? Of course. But at the age of 18 you can get a credit card, go to the service and FIGHT for or country --FREEDOM--tried as an adult in the court of law but can NOT buy beer. What since is this?? And online gaming has made many young adults a good living-millionares before the age of 25. The WSOP is full of them!! We pay the taxes on our winnings from a tournament and if it we legallized we would pay taxes on our cash winnings also. As well as the stock would be publicly traded. Online gaming would only help the poker industry for the WSOP by having more entries thru qualification. As for the WSOP--has anyone notice that the standards for dealers at WSOP in not exactly top notch?? They have dealers there that have never dealt before. Is the WSOP a break-in house for new dealers while we are playing for thousands and millions of dollars?? Is this what we pay for?? No!! But this is what HARRAH"S pays for. We pay our juice at the top premium that Harrah's sets and yet they give us "meat in the seat" for dealers. Harrah's don't care about any of that because they are making their money and we continue to let them. Cash games are supposed to be raked even if their is no flop! What happened to "no flop no drop"?? Why does soda cost 30 cents more outside then in?? We have to pay for the tent too??? As if the $52,000,000 contract with ESPN isn't enough?? Not to mention the other sponsers. And now the dealers are making less then they ever have before!! Where is all the money going?? I haven't noticed Jack Effel and Jim Sommerfeld being so fantastic that they would be worth it all. I do find it rather ironic that a tournament director can also be cage boss who has first count on the money and is always in a sportsbook area. Could this be why we can't get a better calibur of dealer?? Harrah's does NOT give the dealers 3% of the prize pool as we all believe. The bigger the buy-in--the less % for the dealers and staff. Of the smaller buy-ins----under $5000---I believe that 1.8% goes to dealers and floor staff gets 35% of that. Did anybody know that the floor staff was tipped in their own "tip pool" as well as they take 35% of dealer tip pool?? I always tipped them seperately to make sure that both sides were taken care of. Did anybody know that when you are tipping after a tournament pay-out that you have to specify whether it is a floor toke, dealers toke, or cage toke??? Otherwise, who ever you give the tip to and say, "This is for you guys" --a cage person will put it in their toke pool, and a floor person--tournament director--will put it in their toke pool and the dealers see none of it!! Really?? They don't work as a team?? What kind of a system does Harrah's run?? Does anyone at realize that without the DEALERS--there would be NO EVENT!! This is just as big of a joke as not legalizing online gaming!!!! What kind of a sick joke is this?

  2. There is only one thing that can possibly be said - if not for the absurd there would be no hope.

It's absolutely amazing what happens behind the scenes.
