Just no way to insure these "thugs" don't steal from its members.

There has already been 2 huge stories from past employees/owners having master poker accounts and have cleared millions from victims.. Absolute Poker and cant remember the other one. Im 100% sure this has been happening since day 1 and all the pokerrooms have this same issue they just have not been caught.

only way I would support legal online poker is if they where ran and operated by federal and state agencies.

Isn't that what PPA is trying to do?

    Hey aksplace,
Please don’t give up hope. The PPA is working very hard to ensure that online poker becomes federally regulated which will ensure that players like you and me will be protected from sites that are unlawful or corrupt.

If you really want to make a difference, send a $50 check to PokerPAC, become a paid PPA member if you’re not already or help by sending letters to your elected officials letting them know how important keeping online poker safe and legal is to you.

Please don’t expect others to do all the heavy lifting in this regards. Giving up bad mouthing the industry as a whole serves no one any good. I for one believe that the industry as a whole is trust worthy that’s why you should only play on sites that are well known and not fly by nighters. The well know sites, and there are several, have no interest in cheating players out of money because a short term gain from stealing is not worth the long term effect of no one willing to play on their sites.

If you give up then you not only hurt yourself but everyone trying to fight legislation. I dont believe every site is a con. I play on several where wins are greater than losses. you need to look at the big picture. And realize that yes there are really bad players out there that get lucky. I play off of the freeroll wiinings and on few sites have i ever made a deposit so you really cant tell me that they are all rigged

    Dear mikern12,

I would suggest that with your knowledge of what happens when you get AA, you should not be so aggressive with your betting.

It's like when the cavemen first discovered fire... I am sure the curious ones would put their hands in the fire to see what happens, but after being burned a few times, guess what?, they stopped putting their hands in the fire.

You have knowledge of something that others don't, so why not use that to your advantage?

In my case, pocket queens were the death of me in both live games and the internet. Guess what I do with pocket queens? I fold them every time. It takes discipline, but that all part of the game.

Good luck and stop revealing all of the secrets of "internet" poker. Keep them to yourself, use them to your advantage and you will see an increase in your bankroll.

Internet poker is not rigged...it's just not B&M poker and never will be.

i agree ppa should investigate these sites same thing happens to me all the time spadeclub is the worst not only do they claim they can not give you hand history when you copy it from the game it will not show any suites i have the last 50 or better hands flopped top 2 pair and been beat by runner runner str or flush by river i also saw 9 full houses in 15 hands played 20 more hands and saw 8 quads im sry but online poker need to be banned in my opinion untill it is fully investigated by ppa and any other that investigates im also done with online poker in fact we all need to star complaning more to get these sites investigated

I'm one of the people that always beats the poster above, because I always get suck-out cards, which makes me profitable, so I think online poker is great.

But seriously, if poker becomes "legal", it would be easy to setup a third party which could police the sites, investigate legitimate complaints, etc. But because our government has made online poker even more illegal (UIGEA), we got stuck with the less reputible sites. Party Poker was as honest as it gets, and we drove them away, only to be replaced by places with worse security.

You shoudn't play on a online poker site unless you know that the numbers that they use for the flop, turn, and the river are random. I know that Pokerstars had there RNG (Random Number Generator) audited by a third party called BMM International. Unless you can trust the auditor and the site(which should also be regulated by their licensor)who should think twice about depositing. Especially the new sites that pop out of now where.
