Just no way to insure these "thugs" don't steal from its members.

There has already been 2 huge stories from past employees/owners having master poker accounts and have cleared millions from victims.. Absolute Poker and cant remember the other one. Im 100% sure this has been happening since day 1 and all the pokerrooms have this same issue they just have not been caught.

only way I would support legal online poker is if they where ran and operated by federal and state agencies.

Isn't that what PPA is trying to do?

    Hey aksplace,
Please don’t give up hope. The PPA is working very hard to ensure that online poker becomes federally regulated which will ensure that players like you and me will be protected from sites that are unlawful or corrupt.

If you really want to make a difference, send a $50 check to PokerPAC, become a paid PPA member if you’re not already or help by sending letters to your elected officials letting them know how important keeping online poker safe and legal is to you.

Please don’t expect others to do all the heavy lifting in this regards. Giving up bad mouthing the industry as a whole serves no one any good. I for one believe that the industry as a whole is trust worthy that’s why you should only play on sites that are well known and not fly by nighters. The well know sites, and there are several, have no interest in cheating players out of money because a short term gain from stealing is not worth the long term effect of no one willing to play on their sites.

If you give up then you not only hurt yourself but everyone trying to fight legislation. I dont believe every site is a con. I play on several where wins are greater than losses. you need to look at the big picture. And realize that yes there are really bad players out there that get lucky. I play off of the freeroll wiinings and on few sites have i ever made a deposit so you really cant tell me that they are all rigged

I have an idea. Why doesn't the ppa audit these sites. I am so sick of runner runner cards coming out every time I flop trips giving the other person a flush or straight. I have had pocket queens on full tilt poker 108 times and 100 of them have been against aa. This is just rediculous. I am so done with online poker and understand that the ppa is trying to get legalized and regulated online poker in the usa. We all need to boycott these sites and stop playing on them, and once they stop stealing money from the us citizens then maybe they will learn that we will not tolerate them cheating us any longer. It is always the same, I have aa and will raise preflop, then have some donk go over the top with 22 or 55 and they always hit. If it was 10 percent of the time like it should be I would encourage them to do this, but it is not. I lose 90 percent of those hans. How is that possible unless I am being scammed. My last hand played on ft which is the last for good, as I will never play there again, was me with jj and two other people call my preflop raise. flop 88j. I bet get raised, then other guy punches it all in. I figure to be ahead so I call and so doesn't the other guy. both show aa. And you know what came next, yes runner runner aa. Thats how it ends every hand that I play and thats why I won't play online any longer.

    Dear mikern12,

I would suggest that with your knowledge of what happens when you get AA, you should not be so aggressive with your betting.

It's like when the cavemen first discovered fire... I am sure the curious ones would put their hands in the fire to see what happens, but after being burned a few times, guess what?, they stopped putting their hands in the fire.

You have knowledge of something that others don't, so why not use that to your advantage?

In my case, pocket queens were the death of me in both live games and the internet. Guess what I do with pocket queens? I fold them every time. It takes discipline, but that all part of the game.

Good luck and stop revealing all of the secrets of "internet" poker. Keep them to yourself, use them to your advantage and you will see an increase in your bankroll.

Internet poker is not rigged...it's just not B&M poker and never will be.

i agree ppa should investigate these sites same thing happens to me all the time spadeclub is the worst not only do they claim they can not give you hand history when you copy it from the game it will not show any suites i have the last 50 or better hands flopped top 2 pair and been beat by runner runner str or flush by river i also saw 9 full houses in 15 hands played 20 more hands and saw 8 quads im sry but online poker need to be banned in my opinion untill it is fully investigated by ppa and any other that investigates im also done with online poker in fact we all need to star complaning more to get these sites investigated

I'm one of the people that always beats the poster above, because I always get suck-out cards, which makes me profitable, so I think online poker is great.

But seriously, if poker becomes "legal", it would be easy to setup a third party which could police the sites, investigate legitimate complaints, etc. But because our government has made online poker even more illegal (UIGEA), we got stuck with the less reputible sites. Party Poker was as honest as it gets, and we drove them away, only to be replaced by places with worse security.

You know how I know that Ultimate bet is definitely rigged. I was saving my hand histories from playing freerolls and had accumulated approx. 10,000. After analyzing them there was a question regarding the number of times I was beat by runner runner cards. I emailed there support with the hand histories questioning their integrity because they odds of the suckouts that happened were way off the charts. They never replied to me, but now I can't save my hand histories after their latest update. I find it kinda funny because I was accumulating the proof, now they shut me off so I can't. That just proves to me that they have something to hide. So anyone who even thinks about depositing on ultimate bet, think twice.

You shoudn't play on a online poker site unless you know that the numbers that they use for the flop, turn, and the river are random. I know that Pokerstars had there RNG (Random Number Generator) audited by a third party called BMM International. Unless you can trust the auditor and the site(which should also be regulated by their licensor)who should think twice about depositing. Especially the new sites that pop out of now where.

by federal and state agencies. yeah you will even have more cheating!

There has to be the one who says the sites are rigged, and to them i say go learn on how to play poker, losing is part of the learning....

I have to agree with AKSPLACE and Mikern12. I don't think either Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet are playing above board. I'm not going to go into why but AP and UB closed my accounts when I made a complaint against them.

For the record, I have never had any issue with PokerStars and have played on that site for as long as I can remember playing online. It is the ONLY online site I trust.

As far as I'm concerned, until there is some regulation ensuring that online gaming is fair, I agree with AKSPLACE and would just as soon see it go away as remain. Thanks to the WPT and WSOP, there are plenty of legitimate live games around these days with casinos in many states and Canada and many other states like NH having daily "charity" games. I don't need to risk my money online any more.

  16. To kricket: I dont think you can make the money at spadeclub that you can make at Pstars FTP. etc........ I belong to 3 sites and have only made 1 deposit at all 3 sites over the better part of a year 9-10 months. If i were playing at spadeclub I would have had to pay them (at $19.00 a month) $160.00-+

The legislation supported by PPA does call for regulation.

As a poster noted already, the free market was regulating poker just fine until UIGEA scared many sites away. That being said, one can always research sites to see which are most reputable.

The big question is --- Is there corruption at the on-line poker sites?

The answer, in my humble opinion is --- ABSOLUTELY YES !!!!!

Poker sites are businesses that survive only by making a profit.
The more players, the more hands, the more rakes they receive and the more
    profit they make.

They thrive on less than average players. In fact, it's their strategy to keep
the less than average player coming back. That's why they use "Socialistic"
dealing algorithms. (You know, Obama style - spread the wealth). You see so many bad
beats on the river and turn at these sites that it's almost impossible (without a super computer and technical staff) to calculate the probabilities of these bad beats.
The good players are always going to come back because they're driven. The less than
average players won't come back if they don't win every once and a while. Sooooooo,
these sites deal off the bottom of the deck to make sure of these wins.

I've watched thousands of hands and noticed a strange phenomenon --- at a nine player
table I've been dealt the same exact hole cards (in the same sequence) 3 hands in a row. This has happened to me several times. Can someone please tell me how to
calculate the probability of this happening...... Getting the same cards 2 hands in
a row happens all of the time.

And when you do lose with a bad beat, go to Shark Scope or some site like that to check
the stats of the player who just beat you. In most cases they're new players with less than 100 games.

Corruption??? It's at every one of these sites. The challenge --- figuring out how
to play in spite of their dirty dealings and finding an organization to eliminate the
    problem.

I also am giving up my support for on-line poker unless some regulatory agency cleans
    it up.

Okay so this is the last post that I will submit as I am quitting online poker. I will never play another hand at any online poker site even if it is legal in the usa. I have lost all faith after this am that any online poker site could be legal. I refuse to believe that online poker isn't rigged after this morning. 14 times I had aa and every single time it was cracked on a six handed table limit holdem 25-50 cents. You have to be serious 14 aa in a row all to hands like 10-5 or 7-3 and rivering the flush or straight or trips every fuking time. Then the next 6 times with aa or qq i am the big blind and the guy in the dealer position who has raised my big blind every single time for over an hour folds every time i have a hand. This is such a fuking joke. People will tell me that I misplayed the hand by raising it every single street so that people won't call to the river but it doesn't matter they call and hit every fuking time. I give up. This is not to whine about bad beats any longer
it is about shutting down all these online poker sites and now not only will I not support the ppa, I will use every single ounce of my existence to shutting them down and stopping them from infiltrating the usa market. I am a registered nurse and travel throughout the country, so trust me I have resources and every single one of them will be used to making sure that the uigea takes effect and makes online poker a federal offense. Instead of jail time they should just fine people. How about this every time someones ip is caught visiting an illegal poker site 100,000 dollar fine. That should be more than effective in stopping online poker and gambling in general. Every time someone plays 7-2 offsuit and beats aa headup proves that poker is not a game of skill, but quite the opposite a game of chance and should be banned. This letter will not only be posted on this site, but emailed and mailed to every single senator, the president of the usa, and all online poker sites.

    Thanks for reading

Okay boys and girls. I am reviewing my hand histories and there is no way that ultimate bet isn't rigged. I really want someone to review these hands and tell me that this isn't the most rigged site online. This is one session and check out how many premium hands I had on a six handed table. What a joke. Anyone who knows anything about poker knows that the odds of me getting all these hands in one session is impossible even if playing ten hours a day for 5 years of real cards. And just look at how many times my aa was cracked by the smaller pockets, or how many times k3s vs a4s the same suit both making the flush. Obviously I was making money at this table but come on not rigged. This site just like all the others is a joke. So please analyze my hands and if you are brave enough for the truth I have tons more that I could send you as I am also sending them to every senator along with my previous letter for why the uigea is a good thing.

Out of 41 hands, you were dealt AA once, KK once, AK once. I guess if you want to call AQ a premium hand (I wouldn't), you got seven premium hands out of 41. You won a fair share of these hands, though the AA did get cracked. Your history must have gotten cut off here, because this is nothing like what you described in your previous post. This looks pretty standard to me. I still see zero evidence of foul play in any of the histories you post.

Having said that, there are sites that I would not play on. However, the UIGEA does nothing to keep this from happening. If anything, it makes it worse. If your argument is true, you are proof of this. You have been getting ripped off, UIGEA and all, and the new regulations will change very little. Legal casinos in the US are a great example of the fair game that can be offered via regulation, as opposed to the Wild West games with card sharps and thieves. The same applies for the online games.

If the games are rigged, then they are rigged in my favor (at least at FTP, and before, and Poker Room). But this makes no sense as I am far from the ideal customer they would want to keep coming back according to your theory. I bought in once for $100 many years ago at Poker Room. I made thousands grinding it out in low limit cash games, then had to pull most of the money out when UIGEA came out. I did keep $500 of it online and transferred to FTP when Poker Room left the US. I'm up to $2000. I have never bought back in, so I wouldn't think I would be the kind of player they would want to rig the site to keep. I also know I'm far from a great poker player, so I don't venture beyond the $0.5-1 limits. I say all this to stress that there are good sites out there.

BTW, if you care, IMHO, you'd be better off playing NLH with your style of play, as (based only on this thread), you seem to like to raise with less than stellar starting hands. In short-handed limit poker, that is highly unlikely to push people off similarly mediocre hands, especially if they're paying attention to what you raise with, which makes it much more likely that you will see bad beats, as people stick around for longer.

True but the article refers to the actions of former employees with access to internal server accounts. The others were and probably still are colluders. Four or five friends sit at a 6-10 player table and never lose to each other and divide the winnings from the others. If you sit at a table with 7 russians and one american and that american is you leave. This will never stop. Whats wrong with friends or regulars sitting at the same table competing nothing. The problem is if they are exchanging each others hands to each other and not really playing but taking from the others. If you see it report it and they will be banned. I have done it and it works.

The original post is alledging pokers sites rig there software so you lose all the time. Not true or even possible. Why would they steel a few bucks from a few players. For one they would have to have an employee at every table and the cost to employ that person costs more that the few bucks taken for the random suck out. Next the amount of money a site makes in one hour in rake alone on the thousands of tables running at a time is far greater than risking it on rigging a few tables.

Do you ever hear the high stakers complain about the suck outs? NO you dont. The main reason people complain is they are playing above there limits and cant afford to lose what they lost. Everyone else just says well thats poker rebuys and moves on.

If I posted every hand I lost out of the thousands and thousands of hands ive played like this idiot I would crash the server. Stop crying rebuy and move on.

Was I crying or complaining about getting bad beat here, no. I was making money and aq, aj, and pp are premium hands at a six handed table. I was playing limit because getting sucked out on with aa for my whole stack didn't seem like a good idea. What I am saying is that there are multiple players on the same table that would buy in with 20 bucks. Every time I was the big blind they would raise me. If I played back regardless of what they raised with they would hit the flop. Every single time hitting the flop is just rediculous. I have too many hand histories to post them all online, but In a six handed game getting dealt aq aq ak kk aa in like 25 hands is just absurd. I play real cards a lot and I never get those kinds of hands. I really wish I did. You can believe what you would like, but it is not worth the risk of playing online any longer. I am working on a website that will be in support of the uigea which will provide multiple articles on the problem with online gaming. I have tons of scholarly articles and studies that will be posted. If the USA government wants to legalize online poker in this country then fine I will support the ruling, but will never play online poker again. There are too many shady things going on too ever make me think that I am not getting screwed by either collusion, the sites themselves, or bots playing in the online games. It has gotten to the point where if a flush, straight, or trips is possible after the flop even in heads up that I have to fold because it is almost always out there. Why does this guy want me to rebuy? Maybe I don't need too. Maybe I am a winning player and have lots of money online. Just because you are a winning player doesn't mean that the site isn't rigged, it just means you have been able to adjust your game to rigged cards. I eat up the internet players at the casino because they keep chasing and very rarely hit, but online they hit much much more than they should and so all winning players are losing money or not making as much as they should. All the hands are dealt to promote action and boost the rake. Collusion is going on at almost every single table. The sites have bots playing to keep the tables full. With all these different things going on to scam the players how could you possibly make money? Well enough ranting and raving from me. I believe that any online site that wants to get my business would be able to send me the last 1million hands dealt for analysis, but guess what they won't. I have emailed every online poker site and asked for the last 1 million hands dealt to run statistical analysis of the hands and they won't send them. So they must have something to hide otherwise why wouldn't they send them. Someone is willing to do an analysis of your deal and post online what they find, if your fair wouldn't you jump at that chance?

You play garbage hands and lose all the time. Go read a book or learn how to play. Especially in limit where you cant really bluff, if you dont hit fold. Draws play a big part in limit because it doesnt cost much to chase and you dont have to worry about huge raises getting you off your draw. Doesnt matter if you have AK or AQ if you dont hit your gonna lose.

I guess its rigged since every time I have a small pocket and fold to a big pre flop raise I hit trips then watch the others go all in and watch all that money go to someone else. Should I always call there with only a 1 in 8 chance of hitting trips? I would go broke. Maybe I should post the hands so you can analyze my play since I folded and didnt win a big pot. 2 7 with a 2 on the flop beats AK or didnt you know that. You have lots of money on line but only play micro limits?? Good players win over time and losers cry and blame the site. Like I said and everyone else has told you go to crybaby sites like pocket fives, 2+2 and post in the SUCKOUT section.

Don't pay any attention to mmateo -- he's a stupid dildo with dead batteries.

He plays .05 and .10 cash games and thinks he's super macho because every once
and a while he plays a $2.00 matrix game.

His big score once was a $90 win ----- whoopeeeeeee!

He is unbelievably ignorant -- Just ignore him.

Maybe the folks at "60 minutes" should call him for advice.

    flord,

I have relatives in L.A. and get out there quite often to play at the Commerce.

You're right on the money, on-line is no comparison to live play.

The chance of winning in live play is about 99% better than the rigged hands of on-line poker sites.

As far as mmateo is concerned -- he truly is an idiot and I don't waste any time
    responding to his ignorance anymore.

He challenged me once -- Heads up for .05 / .10 game (he picked the stakes).

I live in an area surrounded by daily live games put on by a charitable organization
and there is no comparison. On-line sites are a scam.

Only a stupid Dolt like "you know who" would think otherwise. The on-line world needs
an organization to clean it up. On the other hand, once you realize that 25 to 1 (4%)
shots are going to be thrown at you on the river all night long, you can figure out a
strategy to try and play around the rigged dealing.
