I love the game of poker but am unfortunately not very good. I hate, however, when someone at a table throws my playing statistics, and ROI in my face during a game. There are several sites that allow access to your playing statistics. I'm not sure, but believe the poker sites charge companies for access to this information. I've had my statistics blocked at a few of the larger and more reputable sites but some of them simply won't do it. Consequently, I went directly to "Full Tilt" and asked them to block access to my statistics. They assured me they don't share my statistics and have no way to block someone from watching me at a table. I believe the poker gaming sites should provide a mechanism for any player to stop his/her statistics from being accessed. Somehow, I'd like the Poker Player Alliance to help me with this endeavor.

The poker sites themselves do not give access to your stats - Sites like sharkscope are recording the data. This is technology at work and is not infringing on your privacy or rights you have access to the same data as us all.....

I love the stats. Pokerprolabs (I have no affiliation with them, I just like the site)has a ranking system from 2 through ace with each "card" having 1 to 5 stars. I like to check back there after every few sng's to see how my ranking has changed. If you don't like people making fun of your stats, try reading a few good books (Harrington on Hold'em is good) and try to get better. In addition to improving your ROI, you may actually win some money....

Hi Thaddeusguru, it is agaisnt most sites rules for someone at a table to throw playing statistics or ROI in your face. You should report them when they do. This would stop if enough players would do this. The sites want you to be happy and will put a stop to this when they are told about it.
SharkScope, Official Poker Rankings, PokerLabs TopShark and StarTracker all have ways to opt-out of part of your stats. Stop what you can.
Good Luck at the Tables.

Kidkash is obviously a Shill for Full Tilt. If you'll notice, my post didn't say a word about infringing on my rights. Those words were only used in my private Emails
to Full Tilt. I find it hard to believe that there are so many dolts out there that
simply don't understand what's going on. Let me point out a few facts and then sum
it up with one easy question -----
1. Shark Scope knows how often I fold in certain situations.
2. They know how often I try to steal blinds.
3. They know how often I raise pre-flop.
4. They know, and proudly display, examples of my hands showing my hole cards (?).and now the simple question ----
Where exactly to these sites get their statistics?
Well, the answer is --- they're charged a fee so they can "Data Mine" the
this information from Full Tilt's (and the other sites) data base. Lets see now,
you pay Full Tilt so you can play, Full Tilt sells your stats so you can lose to
someone else, and you say they want to keep everyone happy....... Toro poopoo! There is other corruption at these sites that I won't get into. They are located
outside the United States and aren't bound by our laws or constitution.
Consequently, they can do whatever they want. For this, and other reasons, I
no longer support the right to play internet poker in the United States.Somebody has to fix this, but who?

You Said:
1. Shark Scope knows how often I fold in certain situations.
2. They know how often I try to steal blinds.
3. They know how often I raise pre-flop.
4. They know, and proudly display, examples of my hands showing my hole cards (?).This sounds like Poker-edge not Sharkscope. Poker-edge is banned from FullTilt and PokerStars for your list of reasons. Sharkscope keeps track of wins/lose stats.
Poker-edge takes all it's users game data and forms a data base of all the hands it's users played or was just at the table with. How the hand was played by anyone at that table.
Poker Sites Do not give your hand history out to Poker-edge or any other company.
Hope this helps.

Sharkscope is for SNGs only its crap and you can opt out of your stats being seen. And thats all it shows stats, games played and at what level, and your win loss rate on a graph. Shows hands??? Your on crack. Fold, raise, steal blinds, win ratio on sharkscope yea right again your on crack. Unless sngs are all you play but its still crap. You could have a crappy roi at 1$ sngs and win a couple $100 sngs and be way up in BR. So what does it really matter...You could lose $100 today and win $2000 tomorrow and still have a crap ROI because of the amount of games played at lower limits.
Most other sites like pokerplayerwinnings and others show a win loss rate. Anyone on any table can request a hand history of that hand. How do you think hand histories for high and low stakes games are posted on so many sites by people not even in the hands???
You talk like there are poker spies logging every hand on every table and showing all cards to anyone who wants to see them. Do us all a favor and put the pipe down before you post more of your BS.

Thank you all so very much for this information. I knew there was a method to the madness on these sites. I couldn't understand how or why people were making the calls they were making and winning. NOW I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!! People just have to take the fun out of everything with their greed and cheating ways. Is there NO sense of HONOR among the human race. I live in Las Vegas were gaming is tightly controlled and regulated. It works. I think they should do the same for online gaming too. BUT there will be those computer nerds out there who just HAVE to beat the system. I play to have fun with out having to go out to fight the crowds and be bombarded by the glitz and glamour that is Vegas and it's a shame there are people out there that are ruining this as well.

O.K. Mmateo If I'm on crack then you're on heroin. Either that or your head is so
far up your butt you don't see anything. I was using Shark Scope as an example of a variety of sites that are out there because it is one of the most well known. So now lets replace Shark Scope with "Poker Crusher" and then try to tell me I'm on crack
Pull your head out of your butt idiot and realize you're being scammed. I've had my stats blocked at some of the more reputable sites (Shark scope being one of them) but there are a bunch out there that aren't quite so reputable. It's like XJ22 said, I
play this game for fun and I don't want to see a lot of corruption ruin it.Oh and by the way idiot (Mmateo), when you go to Poker Crusher ask them to email you a complete
history of your stats so you can see exactly what they know about you.Posted 1 year ago # -
I dont worry about others looking at my stats because im not a LOSING player. Do you see Ivey or Dwan complaining that anyone can see they lost hundreds of thousands and even a million this year so far online. No because all they care about is what happens at the table there sitting at right now. Like I said you can lose today and win big tomorrow who fxxking cares about stats...Except crybaby losing players such as yourself.
