I made a withdraw for $200 from doyles I am expieriencing great diffuculties getting an aproximate time when I will recieve my check! I cashed out at the beggining of Oct. and was told 20 bussiness days! After about 15 business days I recieved an e-mail saying that due to tech. problems it would be an additional 20-25 days to process or they could just tranfer the money back to my account! I didnt say anything but dont transfer it back because what would be the sense in playing to build it up further when I still wont recieve it! I can play free poker anywhere with out the stress! I have read many blogs on this issue and many seemed to be resolved so I'm trying to stay calm and not make any idle threats!! LOL If anyone has any advise on the Doyle payout process please reply!!

Hello all,
I too have had many payout problems with SportsBook.com and it is my recommendation not to play at that site. There is no sense in it since they will not payoff. Even if you manage to get a check from them which I did about a month ago, after waiting 2 months. It bounced. Now they did credit it back to my account with the bank fee but why waste the time play when you never get paid. I have just recently tried to pull the last of my money out for 500 dollars. I was assured by them that they have fixed all their problems. We'll see. I will update you all on my experince. For now, I strongly reccommend you do not deposit any more money with them if you are a player their.

I love playing poker wether it be online or in person and I recently opened an account at Pokerstars. I did do a withdrawl from them for 50 dollars and got the check in a week and it did not bounce. So...so far they seem legit. However, with the new UIGEA rules I guess I will stop making anymore deposits until this is all resolved. Hopefully, the new president will reverse Bush. I don't know. Anyway I want to give my experince with Sportsbook.com. It looks they are no longer to be trust. IMHO!

FYI I received my payout from Bodog in 3 weeks, which is pretty fast considering the trouble others are having. The check is from a Canadian bank and it was cleared ok.

Well, if it's any consolation to you...

I had been playing there for about a year while cashing out about $500-$1000/month via check. All came within about 4 weeks and were from US banks, so they cashed fine. Recently (9/25) I withdrew @$5k to my usemywallet account. It hit on 10/9. I still have another @9k pending that is taking longer to hit the account. I made 2 withdrawals within 5 days, and I can see that the "check" ID is different by ~3500 places. I'm assuming that they have about 4500 withdrawal requests a week. I would think in this electronic world that would take about 30 minutes to process, but who knows, maybe it's alot.

I know from 2+2 that people are having problems, and I feel your pain. I just want to let you know that some people are getting their money, so don't lose all hope.

Hey imger8...thanks for the post. I swear when I read your post it made me feel like I was writing it myself. From the long time frames, to the "courtesy" e-mails, I am feeling your pain! I have been so scared to post b/c I am so gunshy as to if this info gets out, I am afraid it will get back to sportsbook.com and I will never get my money. What the heck is that? I am scared so bad, that I am afraid that a higher Sportsbook.com power is gonna never give me my money! This is my 1st post ever. Try this one on for size. This is the word-for-word email I sent directly to a guy over at sportsbookreview.com to help me do some ball-busting in trying to get my money:

Dear Mr. Dozer,

I have been dealing with Sportsbook.com for a couple of years and ever since the many legislation changes and buyouts on the site, I have had nothing but problems and angst. It wasn't until my infamous check payout of $1900 that I have decided to look for further help in this matter.

Back Story:
I cashed out a check back in June (6/8/08) in the amount of $1900.00. I received the check about a month and some change later. Great! Money in the bank right???? WRONG!! The check bounced because of what Sportsbook.com told me "a processor change." Now I have -$1900 in my account, overdraft fees totaling $58 and a huge chip on my shoulder. Sportsbook, after many apologies, told me that they would credit me for all the overdraft fees incurred and re-issue a different payout method. I agreed helplessly because I was never sure if I should beef it with a site that has my money for 1, and 2, I can't fight or threaten legal action against them because they are "illegal" in an online gambling sense. After faxing my life away to them, they agreed on paying me out via ACH check and I would get my money when they signed a new contract with a "new processor." They even offered putting the money back into the site (how nice of them!!) so I can gamble and rake it back to them! I told them not to repeatedly and they put $1900.00 back into the site! They told me that I had to re-cash out the money via ACH check and wait 3-5 weeks (the magic time frame that was given to me every time I asked for my money). After many-a 3-5 weeks waiting, I have yet to receive the direct deposit of $1900 and they have offered me alternate ways to cash out (i.e. debit, another hot check...etc.) I would never want to change the transaction type and have to prolong an additional 3-5 weeks longer. After re-requesting the money on 7/30/08 via ACH check, I finally got a message that said payment processed on D-Day of 8/25/08!!! Well, I called them 3 weeks ago and they said it takes 2 weeks for Sportsbook.com to "process" it and 1 week for the bank to "process" it. It is day 18 of that long 3 weeks and still no check. I check my bank account every morning every time I wake up in the morning in hopes of a miracle. Still no Divine Intervention. I called them this Monday past (9/22/08) and they told me that their Supervisor said it would take about a week or so. Around and around we go!!!! It is officially 16 weeks since my 1st cashout, 70 days since the bounced check issue, and 31 days since the ACH "process" of $1900.00 that has not been issued. Please help!!! Any thing would be appreciated because I have obviously beat this dead horse to oblivion.

Thank you for your time!!

                                                                                                    -Merry-Go-Round occupant

How's that for a doozie? Mind you this was back on 9/25. Today is 10/21 and since then I have changed the transaction to ewallet (I had to register for this account) because they told me that this would be faster (7 business days and 1 day to put into my ewallet). Liars!!! The runaround I have gotten now is that it would take 4-8 weeks (at least it wasn't 3-5), because they are working with new "processors" and a backlog. I hope this helps with your outrage. 300-400 bucks is quite a bit, $1900 is just as painful to lose. I have been nothing but nice to them, never raised my voice or cursed them in any form or fashion. Probably b/c I am afraid they would take longer or nopay me! I hope you get your dilemma resolved and I think I am gonna try the osga (thanks RJ) for some assistance. This has taken 5 months of my adult life, and added gray hair to my head. Sometimes I just wanna give up, but I'm not!!! Not in this recession!! Good luck buddy

P.S. oh yeah. For got to say. When I requested the cashout to my Ewallet, they took out $20. I asked them about it and they told me that I had "bonus'" pending!? Let me get this straight? A $20 bonus pending on a $1900 bounced check? I am not even gonna duke it out with them for $20 b/c I am gonna just lose more time and add more gray hair for complaining about $20. Consider it a courtesy fee. Merry X-mas sportsbook.com. I'm sure the conversion rate in Costa Rica will turn my $20 into a house on the beach

Should I be worried?

I received the following from Doyle's Room in response to my inquiry about my payout request:

In a message dated 10/16/2008 9:16:30 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, accounting@dbpn.com writes:

Dear Mr. XXXXXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting us here in accounting at Doyle Brunson poker network it will be my pleasure to assist you.

Unfortunately, our merchant processor had some technical problems with there processing system last week which indeed delayed a lot and I mean a lot of our checks being sent.

We have been back logged not from our end here but, from our processing merchant which must send all delayed checks first then in an orderly fashion as they come into there queue. I ask that, you be patient as all the checks will be processed but, with some delays on arrival time. Please, bear with us....

Mr. XXXXXXXXX, if you have any further questions in regards to this matter please, feel free to contact me.

Once again, thank you for contacting accounting at Doyle Brunson poker network and may you have a great day.

This post makes me worry. I just requested a withdrawl from Bodog for my sports bet winnings. So far they have been really great. Isnt it funny how easy it is to deposit the money, but you have to fill out 10 forms to get your money. If you want it fast, it cost like $50 to get it. They claim it will take up to 8 weeks to get my check. The funniest part to me is when I tried to make my first deposit, my CC company blocked it. Bodog sent me an email stating that this was a common problem and to call customer service. I called and they reran the card and told me to wait an hour and try to make a deposit. It worked.
