Dave McGoldrick joined the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) directly following Black Friday in April 2011 as a Member Relations Specialist. With a strong focus on serving our members’ daily needs, Dave is the direct interface with the PPA’s million plus members and plays an important role in building the PPA’s grassroots network.
Prior to joining the PPA, Dave served as Staff Assistant for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and later as Constituent Services Representative. Previously, he was a Congressional Affairs Intern for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) where he organized Congressional outreach and engaged state officials to participate in National Adoption Day. Dave also served as an intern in Representative Ron Kind’s (D-WI) Washington D.C. office.
Dave graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in American History, a Minor in Political Science and is a graduate of Marquette University’s Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington D.C. While in college, Dave was a member of the College Democrats and volunteered for President Barack Obama’s campaign in Wisconsin. He became interested in poker while in high school, playing low stakes home games in Rhode Island.
